Founded in Brooklyn in 2016 by Lisette Scott, a former Tracy Reese accessories designer whose grandparents immigrated from Jamaica and Puerto Rico, Jam + Rico (Jamaica + Puerto Rico) is a Caribbean-inspired jewelry brand celebrating culture through bold, colorful, handmade pieces. Drawing inspiration from Caribbean colors, carnivals, music, terrain, and art, the brand offers earrings, bangles, necklaces, and bracelets. Award-winning, worn by Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, featured in Vogue and Forbes, and carried at Target and Claire's. Scott is also Co-Founder of the Black in Jewelry Coalition. Collaborations include Moda Operandi and the Natural Diamond Council's EDDI program.
