Black-owned contemporary fine art gallery founded in 2007 in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn by Richard Beavers. One of NYC's premier galleries championing emerging and mid-career artists whose work investigates social and political issues central to the Black community. Represents 14 artists including street photographer Jamel Shabazz, painter Frank Morrison, and South African multidisciplinary artist Zwelethu Machepha. Hosts 3-4 solo shows plus group exhibitions annually. Featured in Artsy's Black-Owned Galleries Now 2025. Custom framing and gallery rental available. A second SoHo location is open Tue-Sat.
