Lingua Nigra is an independent, handcrafted jewelry brand launched in 2007 by Chicago-native designer Alicia Goodwin. Trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), Goodwin creates distinctive, organic pieces that treat metal as sculptural art for everyday wear. The brand's name translates from Latin to mean "Black Tongue".
