Black-owned contemporary art gallery founded in 2002 by Ivy N. Jones, operating full-time since 2014 in a 19th-century brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn — a space the gallery owns. Represents an intergenerational group of international artists including Aisha T. Bell, King David, Na'ye Perez, Oasa DuVerney, and Deborah Willis. Exhibits at The Armory Show, Art Basel Miami Beach, Frieze Los Angeles, EXPO Chicago, and more. Publishes scholarly exhibition catalogues and monographs. Guest curators of color are regularly invited. Also operates Ivy's Projects, an incubator space for bold artistic ideas open Wed and Fri by appointment.
