100% Black-owned contemporary art gallery founded in San Francisco in 1996 by Karen Jenkins-Johnson, ex-officio President of the SF Art Dealers Association. ADAA member. Represents international artists across painting, photography, sculpture, video, glass art, and textiles — from 20th-century masters (Gordon Parks, Wadsworth Jarrell, Robert Colescott) to established and emerging talent. Artists' works are in permanent collections of major museums worldwide. Also operates Jenkins Johnson Projects in Brooklyn (2017), a community-oriented project space for curators and artists of color. Featured in Artsy's Black-Owned Galleries Now 2025.
