Founded in 2005 by self-taught Texas-based perfumer Chavalia Dunlap-Mwamba — recognized as Texas' first African-American female niche perfumer — Pink MahogHany is one of the oldest Black-owned niche fragrance houses in America. Chavalia created the brand after developing fragrance sensitivities while working as a music educator in Dallas, TX. All fragrances are phthalate-free, alcohol-free (using organic perfumer's alcohol), and gentle on sensitive skin.
